These delicious Italian Cookies, with an English name of Ugly But Good really are just that. They don't look so pretty but with the crunchy exterior and the chewy meringue centre, with lots of chopped hazelnuts too they are really fantastic.

Thanks for all the work you do with the subtitles for your video. With my hearing problem, I appreciate the printed script. I thought that the robot who writes the subtitles had improved his work greatly, but, now you have revealed what really brought about the better subtitles. I am sure the language subtitles will be appreciated by the speakers of those languages.

Late for me again... This is very like a hazelnut merague my mother used to make in the 1960s she use to make one big one and then drizzle dark chocolate over it with cherries and then cut it into squares.while it was hot...we thought it was very posh... .. This looks good as ugly cookies. Though.... thanks for reminding me of something I'd forgotten 😘

Hello Mr. Geoff, I made these cookies yesterday, I reduced the amount of sugar and added 1/8 tsp of salt. I like crunchy cookies, so I baked them a bit longer, and they turned out amazing. One is never enough. Thank you for sharing the recipe 😊

They may be a bit on the homely side, but they sound delicious! They seem as if they would be very nice for times when you would like something a little lighter, but full of nutty flavor and crunch. Thank you once again!

Hello Geoff you come up with some unusual recipes l have often never seen and this is certainly one of them .They look very tasty full of all those hazel nuts l think they would be good with a big dollop of extra thick double cream on top as well !!! How long do you think they would keep and l wonder if they would freeze that may stop me eating the whole lot 😊😊😊at once .Hope you are happy and busy in that kitchen with not to much washing up!!
