Me and two buddies happened to be at Rainbow Music in New Paltz in the spring of 1984. A store clerk who was very excited told us Ace Frehley was the person in the back room trying some guitars. And making plenty of noise. We said “Yeah, right!” And clerk insisted it was Ace. He said look outside! That’s his red DeLorean! Well we did get a glimpse through the practice room door and saw a guy that could be Ace but at that time we had never seen him without makeup. Well, now I know for sure IT WAS ACE! 👍🏻

Love it or hate him you've got to be glad he's still alive. He says that he has been clean for years and that is a good thing. I have seen him perform with kiss a couple of times. The first time was the Dynasty tour. I was about 14 maybe and thoroughly enjoyed it. The next time was a reunion tour and I think I was 28? Again great show.

I remember that. I had just bought my creatures of the night tickets and was all excited to finally see Ace live. A few days later I read in the paper about the accident and that he was being replaced by Vinnie Vincent on the tour. Huge disappointment. I finally got to see Frehley's Comets live in 1994 and saw him in the reunion tour in 1996 (8th row center).

A dutch designer drove a Ferrari red DeLorean in the early 90's.
I also have seen a photo on FB of a red one on a scrapyard in Poland orso, don't know if that is the same one.
