Thanks for the info in this video. As a fan you don’t always get the full story until much later, just different perspectives that aren’t always the facts. I also enjoyed the narration. The spoken word is better than what some channels are doing with Artificial Intelligence and/or machine generated audio.

Decent point about why Peter shouldn’t feel so angry at Ace for redoing the contract. That was Ace’s business. Peter used to describe the moment when Ace revealed how much money he made like the ultimate betrayal. In fact Ace took a pay cut in 1996 bc Peter wasn’t satisfied with what he was being offered with the initial reunion tour

Some of these facts are very incorrect. The Hot the Shade Tour made a million in profits. And they weren't indebted to the IRS at that point because they sold the rights to their back catalogue.

was a teen in the 70s. Kiss was huge back then. I like the first generation of albums but lost interest fast when the 80s hit. I still think Kiss Alive II ! Rocks Balls!

Originals era fan….we have to remember, KISS with Gene and Paul keep the band name alive in the 80s, & early 90s. Our SpaceAce and Catman walked into a situation not having to INVEST their potential earnings into the Reunion era projects. Salaries were ‘guaranteed’ even if the tour had not been as successful. No risk, less reward mindset is required….In addition, they probably thought that selling their character likeness was a sweetheart deal back then when KISS were down. Bad legal advice ! Poor foresight.
As always, I wish Ace and Peter the best of health, acceptance, and happiness. In my eyes, Peter has realized his best self these past
20 years or so.

Strange thing about money. My sister and her husband were happier when they didn't have a few million in the bank. Once they did the marriage blew apart and he became mean. I always said if i won the mega millions id leave the country as soon as the paperwork was signed and met with a bank mngr. Id take the 20yr pay out. Go rent an apartment in Vienna. Ride the euro rail and get off wherever i feel like. Just travel Europe and be anonymous. Knowing i never have to work again. I would dig it the most, to say the least

It never ceases to amaze me how people can have 10 or 15 million and ever end up broke. Don't get me wrong, I can see spending that much, actually, it wouldn't be terribly hard but you would think people could refrain from just blowing through that much. Conservatively invested, 10 million would let you spend 100 grand a month without dipping into the principle to much. Easily last a lifetime plus.
