A woman named Moa is on vacation in the solitude of a cabin, on a small Island outside of Stockholm. One day when checking her fishing net, an old metal box is stuck in it. She takes it with her and place it in a shed nearby, to dispose of later. Right after dinner, a weird sound is heard outside the cabin. She opens the front door, only to discover the box at her footstep.

Having a dancing frog come out of the box singing "Hello, My Honey", like in the old loony tunes cartoons might have worked too. Would have just been disturbing to see.

Just because everyone is quarantined doesn’t mean they are safe. The horror shorts from “Alter” will keep everyone on the edge of their seats.

The Only Mystery about this short is WHY SHe DIDN'T RUN?? It took the person about 10 seconds just to lift the box over her head, an another 10 seconds to put the box over her head...in all that time, i would've been Out the House, In my Car, and 2 Miles down the road!

My theory: the original girl in the box was tortured when she was alive and then stuffed in the box and thrown in the ocean to drown. When the living woman discovers the box, the girl is finally freed but has suffered so much that she's completely lost it, thus, tries to force the living woman to suffer the same fate she did, as a way of revenge (even if the living woman isn't responsible for the girl's torture).

Or: the box requires someone to be inside of it, so in order to replace herself, the girl sacrifices the living woman to the box.

That acting at the end, wow....I feel like I could see the very moment where the main actress realizes that she is staring into the eyes of not some demon or monster, but the desperate victim she will soon become.
