Each time the next song plays, I always think 'Oh yeah, THIS is the best song on the album'. Then the next song plays and I think the same thing again.

I'll never forget the first time I heard Beach House, pure magic.

I played this album many times when I was in the university .As a sculpture student, I always worked late at night alone in a studio there. It's like I was in another world. The music was loud but it seemed so quiet at the same time. A loud whisper in the vast space. Sometimes people there came to see me, they mostly loved the music. One time, my friend came in, standing there quietly for a moment and then he asked me " What kind of music is this?". I had no idea what it's called at the time and said "I don't know". He stayed there with me for a while. I really miss that time. (Sorry for my English though :))

its very hard to find an album that goes through your whole life. childhood, falling in love, and finding joy. this album fits perfect. thank you beach house, for letting me enjoy my life through earbuds. here's what i recommend for everyone: wait until the sunset and then drive around listening to myth, and I swear it will change your life forever...

I know it sounds odd. I sit down with a cup of coffee, read the walking dead (graphic novel) and play this album. Something about it's dreamy, depressive yet engrossingly joyful tone lends itself to the theme. I stumbled upon Beach House when hearing "hours" played at a coffee house. Asked the dude who it was "ah man it's a band called Beach house. Check em out". So glad I did. Beach house takes me places I want to go. Like a dream you want to dream over and over. Set's me at ease. I don't know how they do it.
