It portrays the contrasting views between China and Taiwan, emphasizing China's historical perspective versus Taiwan's emphasis on the will of its people.

The China-Taiwan relationship reveals a stark contrast: China relies on historical narratives, rooted in the One-China principle, while Taiwan prioritizes its democratic will. China emphasizes historical unity since the Chinese Civil War, advocating non-negotiable territorial integrity. In contrast, Taiwan values its evolving democracy, asserting autonomy and self-determination based on the collective choices of its people. This dynamic tension shapes a nuanced struggle for global recognition, as China relies on historical claims, while Taiwan champions democratic ideals in navigating regional geopolitics.

Put it simple: whenever possible avoid buying Chinese products. This way we will avoid war😅

Historical claims is not applicable now, . Indian oceans have a lot of historical place but they respect every countries exclusive economic zones and freedom of navigation as abiding law of the seas. Unlike greedy Chinese making troubles everyday in neighboring countries.

I pray and hope that there will be no more war in the future.

War has a catastrophic effect on the health and well being of nations. Studies have shown that conflict situations cause more mortality and disability than any major disease. War destroys communities and families and often disrupts the development of the social and economic fabric of nations.

The most common negative impact of war include loss of human lives, economic losses due to destruction of capital as well as distruption of trade, human suffering etc.

The effects of war include long-term physical and psychological harm to children and adults, as well as reduction in material and human capital.

As an example, take a look at what the war in Ukraine has done to the entire globe. The impact of the war in Ukraine has caused an untold number of sufferings throughout the world. I will not go into details regarding it, but I will mention a little on what the impact of the Ukraine war has caused in my country Fiji. Prices of several food items have increased almost double fold since the war in Ukraine began. Prior to the war in Ukraine, the cost of a kilogram of lamb sausages was less than $FJ 8. Now it is more than $FJ 17 a kg. Prices of all types of flour, including ROTI flour, have also increased horribly. The poor people in my country are suffering miserably. Things will get even more worse if another war breaks out.

If China attacks Philippines via military force then US Philippines alliance will surely response appropriately in a defensive stance. Philippines exhausted all diplomatic recourse to resolve issues but China seemingly will not respect international law.

Taiwan china conflict is different from the west philippine issue. International law of the sea is clear 200nautical miles distance boundary from the nearest island of a certain country. That is his sovereign jurisdiction.. they want 600 nautical miles tripled of what was in the law.. therefore not acceptable..as a law abiding nation..every nation must follow the RULES OF THE SEA..

Let me correct you, the nine dash line is not historical.. The Philippines has evidence that this nine dash line is just recent and does not hold any weight..
