This Battery ACTUALLY Charges the Switch When Portable - Anker Powercore+ PD Review

There are a lot of portable batteries on the market, but most of them don't pump out enough juice to properly charge the Switch on the go. Thankfully Anker have put a stop to this nonsense and have released their 26800 Powercore+ with USB-C Power Delivery, and it's as impressive as it sounds.

I own this charger's little sibling. The Anker PowerCore+ 20100 and it does charge upwards (be it slowly) while playing Zelda. It's $65 I think. Good find though if you need even more juice!!

That's the battery I have. It really is good. I bought an adapter hub from Anker so I can charge phones as well from one socket. It is heavy though. plus, you have to press the round button before connecting via USB C or it will only give usb A output.

I have the Anker 20100 Bank that has USB-C on it as well and it well charge and play at the same time just fine.

I got a smaller version and I have barely used it. Airplanes had a charging point, and I had never gotten below 30% playing normally. But it still works as a normal battery bank and a fast one at that. If I ever forgot to charge my Switch then it would be a lifesaver.

are you sure the switch charger charges it? I'm using the 20, 100 USB C model from anker and it doesn't charge using the switch wall charger.

The Kodiak by Outdoor Tech is a very good portable battery as well. I have had mine for about 2 years and I can attest that it will charge while using a hand held device such as a phone a small tablet or a gaming device. It will also charge a large labtop 2 phones or tablets and I have charged my klipsch r6 headphones several times all on one battery charge. It is also weather proof and I has a 5v 1.5amp charging output. I believe I paid 55$ for it.

I own that battery and can recommend it, pretty much never run out. Somewhat heavy but with powerbanks they basically get bigger the more power they pack. But yeah, this is a really good pickup for longer trips or just have in your back pack if you want extra power for pretty much anything.

As far as I know, you cannot hold that in your hand luggage on a plane due to capacity regulations... I can recommend the ZMI Qb820 for a slightly more portable solution which still holds 20000mah, runs switch docked, uses USB-PD etc. Also you can easily get the xiaomi 45W usb-pd charger for it ;)
