This is a video of the best american sports moments from the last decade including 10 different sports in 3 different levels: High School, College, and Professional. I made this video because I was watching the other video and thought that they were all missing something so I decided to make my own which I believe includes all of the best moments.

I do not own any of the videos.

Songs:
Alesso - Heroes
The Script - Superheroes
Wiz Khalifa - See you again
Avicii - Wake Me Up
Cold War Kids - First
The Script - Hall of Fame

I love hearing how passionate these announcers are, it really makes these moments more memorable... and then there's Joe Buck.

Let's put the Freeze HR in perspective for those that don't know. David was a StL Metro born boy. Hometown hero. Joe Buck, hometown StL boy gone national. Joe's dad Jack both a legendary national broadcaster and legendary Cardinals broadcaster. The "We will see you tomorrow night" line was Joe borrowing from his dad Jack. Everything about that moment was so special for people that knew all the lore.

David Freese. Talk about redemption. Dude had 3 errors in that game and came back with the game tying triple and walk home run. Incredible.

There’s no crying in baseball but absolutely everyone made an exception for that Dee Gordon home run.

Damn bro. I’m a Philly fan and that shot by kawhi was just insane. The ball bouncing on the rim combined with the silence in the stadium and after it goes in the whole stadium as well as the announcers going crazy. Still gives me chills.

Game 7 of the 2016 World Series was the happiest night of my life. Also one of the most stressful. The game ended at 12:30 am. It ended what was the longest drought in the history of American sports.

The kick six is just one of those sports moments that you remember exactly where you were when it happened, what chair you were sitting in, what drink you had in your hand. An unbelievable moment.

The Dee Gordon homerun of Colon right after the death of Fernandez, may be the greatest moment in sports history. In my opinion. That was incredibly emotional, and I honestly think it proves there’s a higher power. Gordon never hit home runs. Never. But the day after Fernandez’s death, his best friend on the team, he warms up for the game completely wrecked in tears. Goes up to the plate in Fernandez’s number, points to the sky and hits a homerun. Crosses the plate just bawling his eyes out. It doesn’t get any better.

"He's just perfect, and now he's just immortal" may be the greatest announcer call I've heard

David Botes walk off grand slam was a bottom of the 9th, two outs, bases loaded, down by 3 dream. That is literally peak of every baseball players career and dream.

One of the thing that is so amazing about that Soto hit against the brewers is that Hader is one of the toughest pitchers for lefties to hit in, well, ever. Soto was 19 years old, with a team that had never won a playoff series, in four attempts, against hader as a lefty. The odds that he’d get a hit were, astronomically small. If he hadn’t done that, the nationals would still have never one a playoff series. Instead, they became World Series champions.

That dee Gordon home run always makes me tear up. Gordon walks up to the plate imitates Fernandez’s stance and sends a rocket into right off of the first pitch. You can’t write something better

That Game 6 with the Cardinals was insane, this video doesn’t catch the scope of it. I remember watching it with my mom, both of us screaming. I wasn’t even much of a baseball fan, but damn was that game fun. The Cards looking like they were going to lose, only to pull it out at the end of the inning, a few innings in a row. Just amazing.

The Washington Nationals story of 2019 reminds of a very similar story in the NHL that same year.

The St. Louis Blues were not only bad, but dead last in the entire league with only 2 and a half months left in the regular season in 2019. They changed goaltending to Binnington, went on an incredible end of season run, and went all the way to win their first cup in franchise history.

With the Raptors winning in 2019 as well there were 3 first time champions in 2019. 2 of which defied the odds and came back from losing records to win it all.
What a year for sports that was.
