Elon Musk shows off massive 'Starship' spacecraft prototype

SpaceX founder Elon Musk showed off a towering prototype of his next-generation stainless steel "Starship" on Saturday, telling a throng of reporters, cheering supporters and company workers the gleaming rocketships could begin piloted orbital test flights within the next year. The best thing about Musk and SpaceX is that his rockets all have a 1950s feel, like something out of classic science fiction. They land on their tails like 1950s rockets and this one has obviously been welded together out of sheets of stainless steel. It looks like something from a low-budget movie and that is exactly why I love it so much. I am seeing my silly and impossible childhood dreams come true!
