I do love every single one of Papa's posts but compared to previous videos of a few years back, i feel these videos have now lost most of their culinary educational value 😭😭 its more food-related entertainment. Its still fun but i still watching binge-watching the old shows as these have helped me MASSIVELY improve my cooking skills and i am infinitely grateful to Papa❤️

I really like the idea of this series because it gives you a good idea of which ingredients are worth splurging on and which make no difference. But wrapping the ingredients in gold foil and covering everything in caviar kind of loses the spirit of that concept. The point is to make it with the highest quality ingredients that *belong* on that dish

Remember when you use to do fermentation stuff? That was awesome.

I'd love to see him try to replicate the taste of the expensive one but keeping the cost as low as possible

"Most expensive ingredients that make sense on a pizza" *adds sheets of gold*

Hello Josh, I just moved to the UK for my masters, I really like cooking, but find it hard to cook for just 1 person. I am staying at a student accomodation, so I don't have many tools. Can you perhaps make a series for students who want eat a variety of food, with veggies and protein that can be cooked in small batches yet fulling. Thank you so much love your videos!

I’m not convinced this can be done without caviar, truffles and/or gold. Every “most expensive pizza” recipe uses some combination of these ingredients. Predictable

Josh: only use ingredients that make sense!

Also Josh: so i wrapped the iberico in 24k gold.

The video is amazing as always, but I never missed fermentation Friday/ sourdough stuff this much

FoldingIdeas hit the aspect of cooking youtube videos nail right on the head especially with how Josh went from making basic recipes to flashy "wow mommy look how wacky and crazy I can make this"

I like calling this series of videos "truffle time"!

meh, the usual suspects for "most expensive" any food on youtube add truffles, caviar, gold leaf. rinse and repeat

Happy to see Italian and Spanish culture together in a single dish

"If that's not stupid, I don't know what is."

Uh... using canned tomatoes on the $1700 pizza maybe?

I would love a series that makes a dish at a bunch of different prices to find where the tipping point is that it stops being all that much better!

Literally every expensive vs cheap episode.
Me: Oh dang, I wonder what he made it with to make it cost so much!
Josh: Caviar and Gold leaf 🤓
