The Fox Mustang is the ultimate blank canvas. You can build anything you want, from a mild factory driver to a wide-body road course weapon. Thanks Shawn.

I turned 16 in 1985, my grandma bought me a brand new Fox Body 1985 GT Mustang 5.0 for my Birthday. Unfortunately my dad wouldn't let me have it but grandma secretly let me drive it anytime I wanted. I would get in my 78 Ford Fairmont and drive it to my grandmas, switch out cars so she'd take mine to work and I'd take the Mustang to school and football practice after. Any time I wanted to go cruising on the weekends with my buds...yes kids cruising was a thing back then....I'd switch out. Since then I have been enamored with the Fox Body and one day this 54 year old kid at heart will own one again.

I used to think these were ugly. “Used to.” What a gorgeous car! 🚗

Love the 70s wood grain still. Retro vibe with modern performance is always 👌

Ah geez…!! Love this. The guy did everything right and such a cool rare base that he built it on. Growing up in the 80s I loved these cars. They didn’t have high horsepower but the power to weight ratio made them super competitive with my 340 Duster. The 5spd 5liters could give me a run for my money.

I worked on an M81 McLaren #9 or #10. Can’t remember off the top of my head. I want to say this guy reached out looking to buy one. If it’s the same guy I’m glad he made his dream come true.

They are truly unique and cool cars!!

It's beyond amazing in every way and you're so very fortunate to have one of the rarest Mustangs on earth. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this video, and interview. I found myself and my eyes constantly absorbing all of the body lines, and most of all listening to the music that the engine was playing through its perfectly tuned exhaust system. Thanks to you both and everyone else who played a part in making it possible for you to share this video with all of us. My first mustang I bought when I was 18 and it was a 1981 Coupe. I instantly had mustang fever and have owned 17 additional mustangs since then and I'm 52 now. My favorites were my first one the 1981 coupe, a 1967 coupe w/42, 000 original miles when I purchased, and most of all my 1983 GLX 5.O H.O. Convertible w/T5, and 4:11 posi. Thanks again.

As a teenager of the 80s… I remember when this car came out, on that magazine cover! It has Beautiful lines and the 347 Blueprint engine is too sweet. Awesome suspension, can’t imagine it with IRS! This car is just pure, sexy!

My buddy has a 408 Blueprint stroker, in his ‘69 Mach 1…. and he loves it. They make great engines!

This is the coolest car on location wherever it goes. There are probably other cars that match it's cool level, but I don't think it gets any cooler than this
