No name in baseball is more synonymous with the game than Babe Ruth so step up to the plate n do the right thing MLB!!! Retire #3 n give the Babe the same respect u give Jackie Robinson!!! While this is a fairly good summary of the career of baseball great Babe Ruth, I notice a mistake towards the end of this story. The narrator says that the candy bar "Baby Ruth" was named after him. NOT TRUE. That candy bar was named after a daughter of President Grover Cleveland, who was president for two terms (not consecutive--1885-1889 and again from 1893-1987) His daughter's name was Ruth, and so the candy bar was named in her honor--NOT for Babe Ruth.
