It’s easy to forget just how many unbelievably high profile British actors the Potter Kids got to work with. They really did learn from the best

Allan Rickman was a fantastic actor and I never realized how much he invested in people he cared about. Such an amazing legacy.

The fact he cut short a holiday to see Daniel on stage says a lot about the kind of soul Alan Rickman had ❤❤❤

I find Alan’s voice soothing and comforting. Oh how I wish I could find a guided meditation or something out there he did. Until then it’s old interview clips and lines of his that help me calm and sleep. Alan you are so heavily missed

After his death, it was so sweet to hear a lot of young actors talk about how generous he was to them with his time and experience. I think he wanted to take away some of the growing pains of being in the business, so to speak, and support their dreams as best he could.

Out of all the celebrity deaths, this one was one of the most painful for me and it still hurts

Every time I see/hear Alan Rickman in such clips he comes across like that supportive uncle we all need in life.
Great actor, great person. Shame he's not around to enrich our world anymore. RIP. <3

It's so unbelievably important that this part of the acting scene exists, the quiet, hard-working, art-focussed, intelligent, teaching and learning network of actors. Where there are mentors and students and on the whole just wholesome, passionate artists who want to do their art for the sake if doing their art.
And I see this strongest in European production. There not that big of a gap between theatre and movie and dancing and singing and philosophy and literature... Especially the British culture of literature and theatre is so rich and nourishing and deep. People like Alan Rickman or Emma Thompson or Daniel Radcliffe, too, they grew up in art, not in a flashy, glamour, vip-status environment.
They are artists, not puppets for media. They are and will always be a community of working, mentoring, communicating individuals. I'm pretty sure that because Dan Radcliffe grew up like this as an actor, he will always be a mentor for younger actors himself.
There is a wealth in studying in depth that cannot be acquired any other way. Investing time and work and passion. That's why those actors are so good. They never stop to study. ❤

I miss Alan Rickman hugely, that GORGEOUS voice - and quite obviously a very charming man.

How many videos and stories are there of Alan Rickman going far above and beyond just being friendly to being a true supportive friend and mentor? Guy was a true class act.

I’ve seen a few interviews with him. He was always willing to help and support those who took the craft seriously.

That he was also a nice person and nurtured those young people he met in that movie is such a nice surprise ❤

People live, people die. But for some reason I STILL can't accept the death of this wonderful man. Maybe becasue he was such an excellent HUMAN BEING and not just a "star".
