Fish sees a mermaid for the first time! (his reaction is priceless) #shorts

Should we just call this "fish reacts to a mermaid?" Cuz that's kinda what it feels like. I'd love to have this little dude on the YouTube channel again someday. He was totally charming! Anyways, here is a throwback video of that one time I blew a bubble kiss to a smallmouth bass. His raised fin indicates that he was a bit annoyed, but I think we all know deep down that he simply didn't know how to process his emotions. XP

But for real! Dad and I swam away from this fish and filmed far, far away from where he was. Came home and reviewed our video footage to see him "photo bombing" a lot of our videos- even when we were far from him. He followed us around the lake, which was adorable. :)

*NOTES:
-I am a professional mermaid performer.
-We did NOT bait this fish. It came right up to dad and stared a hole in him while we were taking a rest. It was so cute!
-This dude appears to be a smallmouth bass
