Dear Canonical / Ubuntu team, I like what you do with the desktop. Especially during last 2 years where some more focus has been put to Desktop side. Thanks for that. I dream about installing Ubuntu on my family computers, but we all need LVM + encryption to coexist with other linux distros on our machines. Unfortunatelly new installer does not see LV at all and being desperate I tried unity edition that comes with old installer. As soon as I try to use existing LVM logical volumes that I have prepare upfront the installer the installer crashes, if I try to make the installer create/format the partitions on top of LV the installer also crashes.
This is sad. I thought it was LUKS2 failing so I tried with LUKS1. Also failed. Being desperate I tried with no encryption at all also no luck.
LVM or LUKS are not some weird uncommon technologies, why UBUNTU the leader of Desktop Linux world ignores such basic concepts?

The only current issue I am facing is the fingerprint sensor not working, because of drivers. Wish to get it working in the next ubuntu version.

Anyone did upgrade from 22.04.5 LTS? Have your apps, settings, gnome tweaks, hotkeys stayed in place? If you do plan to, can you please get back and reply to this comment? I would assume others would benefit too. Doing a client project, would like to upgrade, but can't waste 1-2 days setting everything up.
