Van was relieved that Trump is out, not because of Joe Biden being elected.

I disagree that Trump turned out his people. I believe it's more likely that Biden turned as many people out for Trump as Trump turned people out for Biden. We have literally reached the era of anti-politics, where people no longer vote for the candidate who best represents them, but rather votes against the candidate whose ideology they reject the most.

What people should be concerned with is that those 70 million voters for Trump, for the most part will likely vote against Biden OR Harris in the next election. And without Trump, the person who the Republicans replace him with, whether it be Tucker Carlson as has been thrown around, or even the likes of Steve Bannon, are going to be sitting in his place. Should that happen, then we all have a real reason to worry.
