For the issue with thread digging into your fingers — it happens with me sometimes. Especially when my fingers are dry. I usually moisturize them generously so the thread moves around with less friction and doesn’t dig in. And I would also recommend taking breaks and massaging the area that’s in most contact with the thread. And the length of the thread shouldn’t be too tight to the point it’s digging in and putting all that tension on your fingers.

I tried this today and I did it!!! I had my upper lip done in parlour once 4 years back and it had hurt so bad that I never tried it again. My moustache was clearly visible and I had to hear a lot about getting rid of it. Today, out of blue I had this urge to try threading myself. And dang!
It’s clear now and my fingers hurt more that the upper lip.

ive always went to the beauty parlour for threading but i just did this myself and THANK YOU! now i can save $5/$10 monthly on threading ;; i didnt knew it was manageable to do this ourselves~ and it hurts lesser than having people do it for you~ some can go really rough on you :( so when doing yourself you can control the pace and power(?) youre going :D
