To be pendantic, chewie can't be a cannibal since he's not human. He just has an acquired taste.

(HUMANITY first, then I'll have some fire roasted porg.)

Chewie isn't a cannibal as cannibalism is defined by eating members of your own species/race.

Great video. How Han and Chewie met in Legends is far superior. It's also similar to how George Lucas envisaged their meeting.

I pretty much prefer the Legends version. And I am sure that if they had gone down that route, the box office may not be so toxic

After the Last Jedi, and hearing rumors of Solos rocky production, I went into the theater kind of nervous. I left thinking that it was pretty good. However, unlike episode 8, a day or so after seeing Solo, I actually started getting more excited, and actually wanting to see more Solo adventures, something I didn’t think I would be interested in. I think Solo is a win.

I think han knowing how to speak Wookiee is a reference to his legends backstory

Really enjoyed this movie but I still want Kathy Kennedy fired.

Cannibalism is the consumption of your own species, so really Chewbacca was not a cannibal!

So they didn't botch it anywhere near as badly as I thought it would.
Good.

I really enjoyed Solo, a lot more than I thought I would. My mentality going in was that I hoped it would be good, I just wasn't expecting it to, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a lot of fun and I don't have too many complaints about it. In regards to this video, I like how the movie took it's own liberties with Han's backstory while still keeping all of the essential elements from Legends. A nice balance of continuity.

Thank you for pointing out who wrote the film. So many of the "true fans" who treat ESB as the holy grail don't hesitate for a second to shit on solo without seeing it. Even though the person responsible for their godly movie also wrote solo. I just don't understand the boycott argument, at all. Why not support the people who are actually involved in creating the movie

I loved it, going to see it again. The movie was 10 parsecs ahead of Last Jedi...

I gotta be honest, I was pretty nervous going into this film, but now I'm glad I saw it! The plot was a bit predictable, but it was fun and action-packed. It had more action than in most Star Wars movies, and the characters were mostly likable and memorable. I thought Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover were fantastic as young Han and Lando, and I enjoyed the romance between Han and Qi'ra. It's still not my favorite Star Wars movie, but very worth watching in my opinion.

I think it is a shame that more people are not going to see Solo, it reminded me of what Star Wars was originally, The Last Jedi has ruined Solo's chances to be a box office hit and has caused its underperformance there

Glad you liked it, I went into the cinema thinking I will hate it, but it was actually a very positive surprise!

I loved them movie. There was not one thing (such as Leia's "space walk" in LJ) that I cringed at. This was fan service at it's best. I will say, if I had one criticism (and it's a minor one) I really thought the "actual" heist was a little boring and anticlimatic compared to the "attempted" heist. But otherwise I loved it.

I found it interesting that Lando's Droid copilot's CPU was repurposed to be used as an additional memory source for the Falcon's navigation computer, because I had always thought that the nav-computer already had the memory storage already built in or that it was one of the modifications that Han mentioned that he'd made to the Falcon when Luke calls it "A piece of junk" in episode IV

I overall enjoy the Legends backstory of Han more, but the Canon version is not to shabby imo! :)
