When I titled this video "a very honest vlog", I meant it! We definitely have a few laughs as usual, but once you watch you'll see that this vlog is very personal to me. The more you share as a creator, the more you open up to public ridicule which then makes you want to pull back which is what I don't want... A couple other creators I follow so bravely shared about their health and it made me feel seen and inspired me to talk about some more challenging topics like this. It's never for the views, I'm just hoping this lands on the people that need it ❤️ and also because what is the point of having this channel at all if we don't talk about the real things? I just kindly ask if you have any negativity to share about women's health, please keep it to yourself. I'll be deleting any comments that body shame me or anyone else. As a woman who lived almost 20 years in what was considered a socially acceptable level of abusive marriage (of course, I know now that there's no acceptable level of abuse), your interference was spot on. When you are the one being abused, and everyone acts like it's no big deal, you believe it's no big deal. By reaching out to her, your action and support will stay with her and hopefully help her to seek a way out. ❤

I had an experience where this guy was harassing me on the train and I stood up for myself, no one else said anything. So for that woman, you stepping in, probably means the world. At 10:02 pm on August 9, 2024 - I squeezed myself as tight as I could and asked the universe to give it to you as a hug. As someone who survived an abusive relationship, I think that if someone had done for me what you did for the woman on the street, I may have left sooner. I am not saying that every situation is safe to interject into and I couldn't expect anyone to be my hero. However, the impact of a stranger standing up for you is so powerful.

I work in reproductive health and have tons of women in my life and I'm afraid to tell ANYBODY except the partners who may be affected by it.
