Dude had Olympic rings tatted on his back. He wasn’t going nowhere.

The gymnast was just mad that the acrobat woke him from his nap.

Not only was the gymnast locked in, he was the only one of the two who kept a full handstand the whole time

I doubt anyone will even care to read this but whatever...

As someone who does calisthenics, my first thought was "what makes the gymnast and acrobat so much more stable and consistent than any of the others?" The answer comes from 2 major issues that beginners always have when trying handstands:
1. LOCK THE ELBOWS OUT. You want the tension on a stronger part of the body while also making sure the chain from each joint is as straight as possible. The more vertical you are, the more stable you will be.
2. SCAPULAR ELEVATION. Basically, they are driving their shoulders down into the ground (since they're upside down it's technically raising the shoulders from their perspective). The shoulder are significantly closer to the side of their head comparatively to the calisthenics guy on the far left who has a large gap between his arms and his head. Again, this helps with stability and significantly reduces any risk of injury to the shoulder as well!

Calisthenics guy is fighting the urge to rep a handstand pushup. 😂

Notice the gymnast’s head placement… it truly makes a difference; less strain on the neck and shoulders, enabling more focus on balance and control. Everyone else is completely facing the ground.

A coworker at the pizza shop I used to manage challenged me to a handstand contest. She was a cheerleader and very sure of herself. If I win, she had to clean the bathrooms. If she won, I had to clean the bathrooms.

She must have been shocked while she was scrubbing those toilets.

I didn’t tell her I was a competition gymnast back in my day. Even out of shape and no practice it was an easy win.

I have only just realised that acrobats split their legs for stability. Not just because it looks pretty

It’s interesting to see the calisthenics guy try to balance with his shoulder, while gymnastics is mostly full body control and balancing a little with the hands

As a physio I was sure that would be the sequence: Tie between acrobat and calisthenics and clear win for gymnast because of their training and how sophisticated what they are asked to do is. Acrobat might not have fallen but the way she changed her position basically completely changed the balance and so the dynamics of the movement, What she did is far easier to maintain.
