I think one of the reasons Hulk hated Banner is that while Banner got his kiss, when the Hulk appeared, he grinned like, 'Me too?' and she didn't give him one, so after that, Hulk decided to get revenge by never letting Banner return. It was by coincidence Hulk ended up on Sakkar, where he could maintain his green form near indefinitely. Only when he saw Natasha again did he realize his mistake by staying, and despite his better judgement, allowed himself to turn back.

Imagine what could have happened in Infinity War if Hulk got his kiss here?
