Thank you for this. My Christian teacher just talked about this the last time we met, he said that the early Christians only baptized in the name of Jesus, that the Trinity is a an evil doctrine, and that Jesus is not God.
I was very surprised to hear this, but it makes sense with what your are saying as well.

Surah al-Ikhlas. My favourite. I recite it in every 2nd raka'ah for every prayer. Not because it's short, mind you but because it is a powerful commandment and affirmation of Tawhid as well as the categorical rejection of any and all concept of associating partners with Allah SWT.
