I swear by this headset. It's really good, and only £25 on eBay. Only had one issue with them in 3 years, when the headset cable split after a particularity egregious rage quit. Having said that, it shows how strong these headsets are, that it survived the impact with the opposite wall of the room, with that much force. All it did was kink the cable leading into the ear cup. I record using a Blue Yeti Pro mic on a boom arm, so I don't care about the on-board mic. However, I feel that this review didn't do the mic justice. You can get it sounding really crisp and clear if you use Voicemeeter with VST Plugins, just as you would the Blue Yeti Pro. Every headset mic sounds terrible on it's own. Every new mic will need to be tweaked, and EQ'd in a different way.

You sir are advertising this headset for Asus! that is dishonest. Defiantly NOT 9/10 the mic is terrible it leaks sound from the speakers to the mic and creates echo. I can get Razer Electra V2 for 30EUR what would that make them by your scale 15/10?

i just bought mine and the microphone is not working (boomstick). Currently using windows 10 right now. tried it on my phone and the microphone works. Guessing its a software issue? help please

I can vouch for the build quality of this headphone. i have been using this for more tham 2 years. But there is a big but. These sound shit as far as gaming is concerned. Using detachable mic inserts so much noise in the mic. In line mic is not that also. 6/10

I really like the senheiser game one but its way out of my budget and its not even available in india 😥, as talking about these i will not buy these i have a mono headphones from a brand jabra (jabra makes headphones for call centers etc) i know its mono and really crappy sounding but the mic quality is really nice that's why im not buying cheap headphones cause they don't come even close to my jabra headphones in terms of mic
