I did a couple of online math courses at SUNY Empire
the courses had group projects which I hated -- such a pain submitting something to the group, waiting for the other members to review it and add their changes and their parts

forum posts were also required and were a real pain -- even though the posts were supposed to be "substantial" most of them were still just
student 1) "this was a really interesting lecture, but the material was still confusing, anybody else having trouble?"
student 2) "yes, i'm having trouble too, I didn't understand sample question 3 from the lecture at all"
student 3) "yes, but here's a youtube video that explains it better"
also all our work was done in Maple - pain in the butt to learn maple
so I'm looking for a different school - would prefer one that grades me on MY work and no group projects
