Painting an Airliner in Gouache—an hour before boarding

People say this looks like the Call of Duty map Terminal MW2, but it's just a real scene that I painted at the San Francisco airport. I got my little tubes of watercolor and gouache past security and the hour flew by before boarding. Luckily they called my group late.

At last I've found an artist who can properly show how he paints, not in a "painting by numbers" kind of way but by showing the thought processes as he tackles the subject. I love the touch of having his watch strapped on the side so you can see how long the stages take.
