If youre having dissabilities or sad backgrounds and still can do something crazy.. Thats called a talent too. Now thats the most entertaining somehow. Whats the point if you have a talent but its not that useful(entertaining for example) for some people. But besides that, this recent contestant, sang really well. Shes at the top level and a lot of people agree with that.

It's just true, that's why I stopped watching years ago. It's become AGT disability addition

Yeah i mean it's been the same way for a while. Not blaming the contestants at all good on them for succeeding despite hardships but it's just the fact that these stories simply sell better than some bang average guy even if he is just as talented. It's showbusiness and you've always needed something to stand out be it great talent or a sad backstory or anything else.

AGT writes most of the backstories. Thats a part of the reason a lot of musicians wont go on the show, they can literally make up any backstory for you they want, make you seem like a charity case or dumbass, and you cant do anything about it cause you signed the contract. Its TV.
