Boy George has one of the most beautiful and underrated voices of the 80's and early 90's. This song was from the movie "The Crying Game" with Forest Whitaker. It's been on my phone playlist ever since.

Fun facts - 1) Pet Shop Boys produced this song and that was Neil Tennant (PSB lead singer) on backing vocals, 2) the music video was nominated Best video from a Film at the 1993 Video Music Awards, 3) Boy George was also nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male at 1994 Grammy Awards, 4) It was the last charting single for Boy George on the Billboard Hot 100 peaking at #15 in 1992, 5) there are a few variations of the music video including one that contains mostly movie clips.

Another wonderful reaction, Saeed ❤ Thank you! One of my favorites of his is Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? It has a reggae sound to it. I’ve seen him and Culture Club live in concert twice now. The last time was just this past September! He was touring with Squeeze, one of my favorite bands of all time! I was a teenager in the 1980s, he was one of my favorite artists. His voice is amazing. The Crying Gamemovie was really controversial when it was released but this song was perfect for it.

A well done cover of The Crying Game released by Dave Barry in 1964. Beautifully sung by George I met him many times out and about in London with Marilyn, Pete Burns and some other old friends. Good times were had by all.

This is a cover of a 1964 song, for the film of the same name. The dreamy hypnotizing "Twin Peaks" vibes was quite popular in early 90s, as was the subject matter of the film. When you watch it you'll know why Boy George was picked to sing the title song. And the film is quite a cool one, I think you'll enjoy, especially when you know nothing about it before, you will be shocked in the midway. 😜

The original of the Crying Game was by Dave Berry, 1964 which I also think is fantastic
