I had already 100% the main game and when I bought and installed the expansion I didn't get any missions or prompts. If you're in a similar situation of the missions not appearing even though you've downloaded the expansion and are past act one here's what you should do
Fast travel to Akashima Village and right infront of you will be a man standing infront of an arch, talk to him and this will give you access to the first mission in the expansion

Patch 2.18 ps4 does not show the icon. You have to go near Drowned Man's Shore near the icon in the video youll see a ship then a hut you need to investigate and talk to villagers then it will show

If its not showing up on the map press start and right D pad and track wind of vanity and should take you to a monk asking for help and then the quest will pop up on the map saying journey to the past😅
