MARVEL EXTREMELY NERFED ADAM IN G OF THE G 3. MADE HIM DUMBFOUNDED AND GOOFY WITH NO SENSE OF AWARENESS. IN THE COMICS HE'S STOIC AND SMART AND VERY AWARE OF WHAT HE'S CAPABLE OF. SAD THEY USED HIM THIS WAY IN THE FILM.

Adam during the infinity trilogy also had powers enhanced by the soul gem, which allowed him to suck anyone’s soul into the gem as well as fire his karmic blasts. He was a calm, gifted strategist who once tricked the Goddess (his female doppelgänger) into thinking she had succeeded in launching the destruction of the universe which turned out to be an elaborate illusion by Adam.

they make everything a part of the one marvel cinematic universe so they have to water everything down otherwise the characters would be too op. if they just allowed for multiple universes and stuck more to the comics they might be able to tell better stories and keep things fresh.
