Does Oxygen Builder Work With Crocoblock JetEngine? Let's Find Out!

So, I was curious if Crocoblock's JetEngine and JetSmartFilters would work with Oxygen Builder for WordPress. Let's see what happens!

Oxygen Builder for WordPress is certainly gaining a positive reputation and has a lot of built-in dynamic features that work with tools like Advanced Custom Fields. BUT, what about Crocoblock's JetEngine and JetSmartFilters?

1 year ago, I asked Croco if they had any plans on adding Oxygen as an integration, mostly for the jet filters. That was not in their plans then, and I understood, because Oxygen back in v2 was not so popular. It is good to hear that they do think of checking it out now.
As for the jet filters to work, it will require more than just a shortcode feature, since you will no be able to style it. That was done using the Elementor API and they would need to create an integration with Oxygen API as well.

Something that I would like to mention (not related to croco) because I want to be fair, there is a major con when combine Oxygen and ACF. The more custom fields you add the slower the back end will become when it loads. I have created a used cars website with Oxygen and ACF and have 35 custom fields added in the template. It takes about 10-15 seconds to load on the backend. The front end is fast and the client will be happy for the result, but every time I have to do a change in the template I have to wait it to load.
The same thing happens, when creating single product woo template.

They are using Angular, and hopefully they will turn to Vue JS witch is super fast. Boy I have to create a review about Oxygen too. I have so many thing I want to say.

It is not recommended to change the query to custom (in this case). You have set the template to apply to your CPT archive. So leave the query as default.

A Coincidence! Had done a similar trial with crocoblock & jetengine a couple of weeks earlier! Behaved similarly as you demoed. Also tried doing a front-end form on the CPT, but faced a hurdle when I could not get the shortcode for the form to embed it in Oxygen! Had asked Oxygen folks on same - but got an answer that they do not support Oxygen currently. So your comment about possible future support is heartening.

Again, thank you Paul for another great video focused on Oxygen Builder. I think what would be a great idea is to go back through some of your Elementor/Crocoblock videos and see if you can recreate what you built in them but with Oxygen and Crocoblock. Just a thought.

I've tried some thing with pods and oxygen as well. It kind of works, although oxygen seems to have some trouble with relationships and some other things.

Definitely like the look of oxygen, but needs to have full integration with jetengine before I could consider switching from elementor. Also the pricing of oxygen is a big plus over elementor, not to mention the speed (page load & actual dev time)

Nice to see how flexible Oxygen is, but I've kind of retracted from using Croco for anything in the future myself. The bugs(expected with anything) and lack of support in a timely fashion, along with the kicker of the 'massive' price hike that occurred a bit back, just left me a bit irritated. Especially now with Oxygen really moving into a stage that it can be used to create some fairly good sites with very few plugins, and MUCH cleaner code output resulting in faster sites. Still using Elementor, but becoming more and more familiar with Oxy. Thanks for the review as always Paul.

I messaged crocoblock support about the possibility of Oxygen integration around 3 or 4 months ago. Great to hear they've taken this popular request seriously and started developing and testing integration. It's win-win-win for all involved in my opinion. It's going to be interesting to see how this integration works out. I can see a major disruption happening in this space with Oxygen becoming the theme builder of choice for many.
