How the VHP and BJP exploited a teen’s death in Tamil Nadu| Lavanya| Annamalai

Lavanya’s death on January 19, 2022 ignited a communal campaign, with the right-wing ecosystem amplifying claims of ‘rampant coerced conversions’. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) led protests accusing the DMK government of permitting ‘forced conversions’ in Tamil Nadu’s schools, which dominated national headlines for weeks. Two years later, a CBI investigation concluded that the student’s death was caused by harassment from her hostel warden, not pressure to convert. The probe also revealed that a local VHP leader exploited the child on her deathbed to further a Hindutva narrative. The CBI says in its chargesheet, that TNM has accessed, that Lavanya’s parents were under the influence of a VHP leader and some BJP leaders of Thanjavur.

We talk a lot about force conversion, but what about brainwash conversion
On a normal day guy who don't believe or subscribe to गाय गोबर गोमूत्र or cow philosophy, on pitru-paksha, or on the day when he/she lost some loved one, while doing ritual, start following a Brahman mindlessly, I think this is also a force conversion, In a normal life a guy who is atheist, or atleast a agnostic, on the day of last rituals or post death rituals, that atheist, agnostic suddenly turn into a religious one listen all the bluff of Brahman and follow rituals without even thinking rationally. This is a forceful conversion of agnostics to a religious person.

Why are these religious conflict exits in India? Just because BJP?
In, US every religious minorities, ethnicities co exists, without much religious conflicts.
The US religious majority christian fanatics are no different than Hindutuva BJP. But why there isnt much of a conflict exist in US? The answer can be found if you listen to Ambetkar.
The religious minorities, ethnicities in US do not go out and proselytize the majority faith. Dont use their money and wealth to proselytize majority christians.
Casteism is inherent to Brahminical Hinduism, but Ambedkar who knew well about abrahamic religions did not convert to Christianity and Islam. Like Hinduism, Christianity had its own faults in the past, even now, like slavery, colonialism, genocide, crusades etc. But proselytization is inherently demeaning, arrogant, and exploitative. As long as proselytization, use of money from churches exists by Indian religious minority Christians and their patron Vatican churches, as small or insignificant it may be you will be feeding the Hindutuva BJP fanatics fodder to spread religious conflicts.
