I saw a kid a couple of times over the internet where he's crying and asking for the Mahdi to please come and save them. Brothers and sisters, this is not right, this is a bit of shirk. You can't expect the Mahdi to magically solve your problems and completely rely on him to give you salvation. YOU (WE) have to work to solve your (our) issues WHILE seeking and asking for Allah's help. We should be praying to Allah, NOT "asking for the Mahdi to come out of his hiding place." I'm sure the kid and the people singing mean well, but they're not pointing their faith and Iman towards Allah, our creator who knows what's best for us. We are positive that the Mahdi can't even be here yet because there are still a few signs that have not come true yet, and we can't just sit arround doing nothing till they do come true. We are an Ummah, we need to act and be strong in solving what is killing and hurting us. As our beloved Messenger said; the Ummah should be like a body, if it's hurting somewhere, it should be felt throughout the body and be treated by such body. Where are our actions? If you see an evil, try to change it with your hands, if not, then with your mouth, if not, then with your heart, and that is the weakest of faith. Don't sympathize with the enemy that is killing us for one moment. And try to use your hands as much as posible. Here in Egypt, we're trying to send food and water to our brothers, but are sadly blocked off. In Sha' Allah we will break through and aid them very soon.
