A cracking little USB MIDI Interface for you to use to connect your synthesiser keyboard to your PC. Not only records from your device but plays out to it!

The best MIDI gear for a computer I have ever used, and I have used a few down the years is the Edirol UM range, which was a brand name used by Roland; I own the UM-880 which is very expensive on Ebay these days due to being discontinued and very sought after. The timing and overall features and performance are faultless.

My third keyboard in the 1980s was the first I had with MIDI, but very crudely implemented! The keyboard was a Casio MT-540 and had some nice sounds, and a basic one track memory sequencer which also recorded the drum rhythm at the same time if needed, plus you could play along live to the sequence thus giving a total of three tracks kind of. Fast forward to 2016 and limitations of any kind are a thing of the past!
