I saw Live Aid live on tv in 1985. Was about to go to bed. Then Queen came on. What a worthwhile experience to stay up for. What is also amazing is there was no special effects, bells or whistles needed to show what an awesome band Queen is. Love this still to this day. Freddie Mercury was such an awesome talented person. The rest of the band were awesome to.

Queen by far is my favorite. Unfortunately, I was too young to see them before Freddie passed. I did get to see Queen a few years ago live with Adam Lambert. Still a spectacle to see. They paid homage to Freddie, so much respect I have for that band.

How did Prince at the Super Bowl in Miami not make the list?

He performed in the pouring rain with 3 separate live guitars and two dancers in 6in platform boots with high heels. Many hold it in regard as the best Superbowl halftime show ever.

Queen is legendary. Their concert in Montreal in 1981 is a spectacle to witness. Best concert I’ve ever seen.

I know many people don't know who they are, but The Band's "Last Waltz" concert is such a captivating performance which also featured guests like Eric Clapton, Van Morrison and Ringo Starr, and should have at least made the honourable mentions.

Add to the list... Rush R40 in Toronto, 2015. Not only one of the most polished performances ever -- the entire premise of going backward in time linearly with their music and their stage equipment (from the most modern up-to-date stage to ending up with 1 amp on each side of the stage, ON CHAIRS)... An incredible watch. Will never see the like again. RIP Neil.

Queen is unbeatable. I was hoping you would include David Bowie’s 50th Birthday Party in 1997 at MSG with special quests -excellent concert.

The Beatles on the Apple building rooftop in1969, singing songs (now classics) that they had just written and barely knew.

Great list! If there’s ever a follow up, Black Sabbath live in Paris 1970 is absolutely amazing! It’s one of their greatest performances. So much power and energy!

Freddie died when I was way to young and had never heard of queen. Now they are one of my favorite bands. I would have given anything to have been able to see them at live aid
