I saw and met the Ramones in Philadelphia in 1977. They were four of the coolest guys I ever met. I was just disappointed that they didn't play this one.

I ain't been a punk rocker in a long time. I'm a 90s kid but I fell in love with the Ramones. Took a while but I did it. When I got that two CD set I'd play them over and over. First recording I ever had of them was a recording of their live album on a tape made by a high school acquaintance.

One of the greatest songs ever done! A classic burst of Punk rock energy that doesn’t let up! The first time I heard it I thought WTF is this? I was shocked because of the relentless pace! Now I know this is greatness!

Love this., the way Joey sings it. Sounds like he’s down the hall, yelling back about something he’s afraid to do ., the switch from Daddy-O to ., Romeo-AHH ., like he’s stylishly buying time to maybe not go down there has me laughing through the whole song ., it’s freakin great :) We’ve all been spooked by basements :) RIP Joey., that perfectly odd guy that made that band world famous 👍
