I am a Japanese student and love using kurutoga because we write kanji daily. In general, kanjis have many strokes. We sometimes have trouble writing by minor characters in lines such as notebooks and answer sheets. Using this pencil, you can write beautiful letters on paper that are easily distinguished.

Must have pencil for me is a cheap bic mechanical pencil in case anyone ask me for a writing utensil. I must protect my stationary.

I use a sarasa vintage grand almost every day to take notes in class. I love how heavy it feels in my hand, the smoothness of the ink, and the classy gold accents on the body. I've also found that it stands up to highlighters very well after a minute or two of drying

From just feather 🪶 and ink to normal pens to advanced stationary technology. Your engineers, testers, videographer, workers and etc all really did a great work. Big efforts. Keep it up for good!

For pens i prefer pentel energel! I love the needle tip and it’s not too heavy or too light! The ink is smudge proof! For the grip, personally im a squishy grip gurly! But the pentel energel feels good enough! Fav pens.

The Tombow mono zero is my favorite Japanese stationary item. So far. It blows the pentel and bic ones so far outta the water it’s crazy.

I love the pen recommendations. I use the Zebra Sarasa as a gel pen. However, I do take into account if it's refillable and if the refills are easy to find and affordable. That being said, in the Philippines, the Pilot Acroball is the usually the choice for many students and professionals. For gel pens, many also choose the Pilot G-tec.

I love so many of the products mentioned in this video! The Zebra Clickarts are unique because they are a water based marker but act like an alcohol based marker (I'm a visual artist for reference)

Slightly off topic, this is not a Japanese brand, but-
Anyone with a parker refill compatible pen should ABSOLUTELY try the Schmidt EasyFlow9000. It flows completely effortlessly while maintaining a dark, consistent line. It's so incredibly smooth as well because its wider tip and ink formula lubricate the tip really well. Absolute recommend!

My ultimate favorite is Sarasa dry. The ink dries so quickly and never lets your hand or paper messed with undried ink.

the Tombow 2558 pencils in the softer B grade are my very favourite wooden pencils ever. the graphite is a JOY to write with - super smooth - and genuinely, the eraser on that pencil is hands down the best eraser i have ever used. ever. why they don’t make that material available as a stand alone eraser is beyond me!

I use the Zebra Sarasa dry X20 in black 0.7 as my “only pen I’ll use”. I won’t use the pens my company provides. I love the smooth flow and never skip, bold lines. Writing is a pleasure!

My must-have pens: zebra Sarasa, pentel energel, pilot g2. Uni Jetstream is niiiice. depends on my budget. pigma micron pens are niceee too. gotta be on sale.
For highlighters: zebra mildliner and uni propus window

I'm a medical professional, so pens easily get stolen. I can only keep 2 pens (one legal, one fun), highlighter, and sharpie on my person at all times. trust issues run deep.

I would most definitely include the Platinum preppy or the pilot metropolitan in the fountain pen forms as probably my favorite pens to recommend people as a first fountain pen.

The alpha gel uni jetstream is my absolute favorite pen for everyday use. So comfy and writes smooth.
