Will this work with Windows' nearby sharing feature?

Finally... I'm really glad to see this. But why did it take so long?

It would be nice to see a Collab between iPhone and Google where we could airdrop or 'nearby share' between different platforms, though I doubt it will ever happen

At first, I thought this was completely unnecessary. But when I read and heard all the info about it, it seems like a pretty nice feature

Thanks guys, this has been a long time requested feature. Now just to wait another two decades until apple allows cross platform sharing ...

This is why I love Android. It just appeared on my phone. No software update. I didn't even update any app. It legit just appeared. I love Android.

I tried on my Samsung S20. The first thing I found was that I had to find that "Nearby share" icon from a long list of apps after pressing the share icon, unlike Airdrop, which is permanently on top of the list.
I think Google should ask every phone makers to place Nearby Share on top of the share list because this needs to be one of the core features of Android.

So it's basically airdrop but on Android or Samsung instead of I phone

Very cool feature!
Next step is creating an app that allows you to send files to another device, no matter how far is it, or what device is.
It's hard to believe that in 2020 we still have to email files to ourselves!

I really miss Airdrop on iPhone which makes me want to go back, but since Android is already developing a service similar to it, I guess this is great, and would make me stay on Android as long as my data is secure

Been using it for a little while on my Samsung and OnePlus and it's so convenient and fast! Thank you for this feature, team.
