This plays out more like a documentary than a movie

How is there just 11 comments?
Is it a movie written like a documentary, or a documentary written to be more like a dramatic movie (sounds similar, but different Intensions and wiggle room)

Does anyone know who the actress is at 1:10 and 1:36? She looks so familiar and it's driving me crazy

Finally! I can’t imagine how hard men are probably trying to cover up and ruin movies and shows like this but we need to hear more stories about victims getting justice for SA. Especially when against powerful and influential predators.

They were silenced? Really? Didn't they accept the settlement in exchange for NDA? Sounds like self-silence to me.

Why are there no mixed women in the whole movie

While I understand the mental trauma of these stories is life altering; I don’t think this trailer is portraying this subject in the correct framing. If you really wanted to do something useful with this issue, you wouldn’t advertise it like a showtime drama. That just cheapens the concept of what happened to these women. A more effective way of doing something like this would be (as emotionally hard as it might be) to have the victims share their stories in a documentary with a more muted tone. At my highschool something like this was done, but it was for an African Orphanage. The kids got up and sang a beautiful song, but then they shared their stories of abandonment, abuse, or circumstantial struggle. This not only created an emotional connection but also didn’t corporatize their pain as much as a dramatized show. Once again Hollywood film makers you have missed the mark.

I can see why this film flopped. It reminds me of the episode where Homer Simpson was false accused of SA and completely vilified by the media. No one believes this nonsense anymore. Not after recent events. I'm sure it's nothing but a work of fiction, based on feminist nonsense.

Nothing against MeToo but this movie makes the whole topics boring

The acting is terrible, no wonder this flopped.
