I understand the incentives that turn YouTube into a never-ending tradeshow and I get the pressures creators are under. But the independence and humour of this channel really make it special !

Fair take. I like mine, I use modular and was waiting for a straightforward drum machine that is unobtrusive sounding for ages, fits me perfectly

You actually demo'd this better than anyone else I've seen - you're the first YouTuber who has made me appreciate this machine. There's still no way I'd buy it for it's current price, but it's also not as bad as I thought.

The main issue for me is that Korg is so completely terrible in terms of firmware updates. Although I'm sure there will be a few updates, I doubt they will add very much at all

You called it, this is now selling brand new at outlets for $299 USD. Its actually what brought me here to check out if it was worth considering but I just get the feeling that is money I'd rather spend to getting a slightly better drum machine, or, honestly just sticking with what I have. I really love my Erica Synths LXR-02 Drum Synthesizer, and I can always spend more time with the samplers I have to fill anything that lacks.
