Hello friends, in this video join me on my working days in Brisbane as a surgical resident! The nomenclature out here is a little confusing but basically I"m not on a surgical training programme but a junior doctor (A "senior house officer", 3-years post graduation) on the surgical team. Enjoy!😊

A surgical resident in Brisbane!!! Hopefully, maybe one day in the next decade or so that will be me 😀. It’s awesome to find someone who is actually doing the thing I want to do in the country I live/probably will study in. This is the first video of yours that I’ve seen, I’m just intrigued ☺️.

Quite a few of the hospitals in brisbane are quite nice, The childrens hospital is honestly amazing, and Princess alexander has a fairly nice entrance lobby. Although the marter is kinda dated and average. But marter private is nice.

Hello surina your videos are wonderful i just need your help my husband is recently planning to give mrcs exams in uk he is already general surgeon in my country so what is possibilities for FmG doctors for getting superspeciality in field of surgery after passing both mrcs 1 and 2 exams ..Does australlia accepts uk accepts degree .. ?

Hi Surina. Your videos are very inspiring & I just subscribed to your channel. I am an IMG chasing an MCh in Surgery (Otorhinolaryngology) at CCCU in September 2022 and also prepping for the PLAB 1 & 2 in 2023. I am also considering writing the MRCS (ENT) in January 2024 upon completing my MCh program. Armed with all these credentials, what are my chances of getting into specialty training (with the ultimate aim of becoming a consultant) in UK and Australia. Which country is better in terms of salaries, work-life balance, personal & professional development etc. Someone advised that armed with all the afore-mentioned credentials, i should chase unaccredited jobs in ENT, then write GSSE and then apply for SET...what's your sincere advise?
