I always felt like the motion a Templar made when it jabs always kind of looked like the technique In my youth to get off...great video. Brought back lots of memories.

yup. i was hard stuck at 78k dps on my stamplar. watched this video and within 4 parses of practice im up to 85k. im now nearing the realm where the only dps i have left to gain is by perfecting my gear. getting perfect rele, golding it out, xmuting jewelry to bloodthirsty, and golding it out. exciting stuff.

He still didn't explain how his does more or how to cancel an animation, all he said is that the animation lasts longer than the attack :/

I'm still confused. if i press light attack it will only go off after the animation ends. do i need to block cancel it or something?

I hope you can help me. I have spent hours upon hours trying to master this and, for the life of me I cannot get my light attacks up to .88 (according to Light Attack Helper). They always float around the .5's maybe .6 if I am lucky. I know I am effectively canceling the animation and then doing it again once my GCD shows it clear. What gives? I'm using the same class and build as you in this video.

Hi, I'm a new player. Please clarify, at the end you say that the jab duration is ~1 sec (0.92) which is like regular abilities. But ain't most of regular abilities instant?

Hey, you should post your keyboard and mouse so we can see what you are doing. A .08 second window to press the light attack button before the next jab seems pretty crazy. Would like to know your timing 😁
