I'm damn near 15 hours in...over a few days... farming bad man's hollow for that damn piece. Drop rate is abysmal. After the first few hours I just started farming the groups toward the entrance and still no luck. Damn RNG hates me.

Complain about it. Get off work. Get it in 10 minutes. RNGesus felt guilty

Took me two days to get this bad boy but I already had my antiquities skill line leveled to master. This totally made everything more feasible for solo play.

In the glenumbra public dungeon, its 10x easier to just fight the ratmage skeever boss and get it, I was grinding out trash mobs for over an hour and did the ratmage twice and got it.

after what seemed like forever farming "trash zombies" at the hall/tunnel entrances got bored and only once nuked the group of skeevers that gather at the water pool in front of the hall/tunnel entrances - got the lead from them - about 3 hours total farming in 2 seperate farming sessions

The Aurmine ancestral signet dropped in Razak's Wheel, after doing a lot of chest opening around Bangkorai, if any one is looking for this.

After excavating all the pieces where do you obtain the ring from? Is there a certain place to go to build it?

Some say chest is the worst, but that doesn't compare to the pain that is Badman's Hollow.
That lead is bullsh*t in its purest form.

I was so excited, tonight I found a lead laying on the table in Night Hollow... no waiting, and got a lead in less than 30 seconds in the glenumbra public dungeon... but neither were for the ROPO.. they were BOTh for the ring of the wild hunt! : -(

the world boss lead won't drop for me and as solo player (the reason I'm trying to get this item) it's very hard for me to actually beat the boss. where the logic in putting an item for solo players behind bosses that require teams?
