Fighter has so much more to do now and it's awesome. I made a battle master and just with a couple feats I already had tons of stuff to use and decided on at level 5, from multiple reaction options that I can play more tankily or offensively with depending on the situation to a third attack and the ability to reroll a damage die once per turn, not to mention the weapon mastery giving you another thing to do, in my case do my strength in damage when I miss because I have a glaive. Fighters are legitimately super fun now, even at low levels, and I am so here for it
