FinFun Mermaid Advanced Monofin Pro (AMP) Review and Swim!

My opinion on the latest monofin from FinFun Mermaid! This is an upgrade from their regular monofin Jr and Pro monofins and still work inside their tails as the (required) part at the bottom that helps you swim. I hope this video helps people decide whether or not to buy one!

Yeah, I don’t dislike my advanced monofin, but I wasn’t overly excited about it either. Thanks for the recommendations for other monofins that fit inside a FinFun tail skin. I have four that I absolutely love.

Thanks! This is the one I ordered to try this after seeing a mermaid at a local convention in the hotel pool! Loved the basic one so much I got one for my daughter and upgraded to the Pro AMP - I appreciate that it keeps me from crossing my feet in the monofin but completely agree it's not different enough to upgrade on it's own. But I'm addicted now - I just ordered an FF3 monofin and am attempting to make my own tail for it!

i just got the pacific pearl atlantis tail for my birthday! i had the magenta one before which was all beaten up and had wholes in it it came with a new monofin because in my old one the foot pockets where stretched out. I live in Florida and we got to the amazing alexander springs all the time! can't wait to swim there in my new tail!

I’ve had both monofins and I like that I can actually do flips in the AMP. In my other fin fun it would never stay stable enough to complete one.

I have an AMP after trying it with experience from their regular fin, it's a little stronger, with their "support hole" in the middle started tearing on me after some uses. I love your videos! Is it possible to review their clothes and such? I'm more curious how do the leggings feel paired with the skin?

I got the AMP as a second option for times when I give my Pro to friends to try. I like both just as much.

I just ordered one! My old one is so stretched out that my heels are behind the blade so I needed something to put into my Magictail and Finfun skins. I love just how easy they are for every occasion and also to slowly regain strength in the water (I was ill for a long time, so I don't really have the power atm to wear my Mahina, Hydra or Luna Eclipse for longer amounts of time)
