Hello Sir. Again I am bothered by a substitution problem.
The question is
Integralof 1/[(x-2)^(5/3) (x+2)^(1/3)]
Now they substituted
=integralof {x+2}^(5/3) / [{x-2}^(5/3) {x+2}^(1/3+1/5)]
Now I don't understand how this substitution is made . The first part {x+2}^(5/3) / {x-2}^(5/3) is made to aggregate the terms like this [(x-2)/(x+2)]^(-5/3) but the next part {x+2}^(1/3+1/5). I didnot understand this part.
The answer is -3/8[(x-2/(x+2)]^(-2/3)+ C
And thanks for helping everyone .

Can you integrate 1/(xยฒ-2x-3) dx from 0 to 4 .
Im confuse which one should use, the arctan or partial fraction

Can you do
x*(ln(x))^n ?
From 1 to 0 it should be (1/2) (- 1/2)^n * n!
