Using the Figma Library Analytics API

The Library Analytics API, part of the Figma REST API, lets you fetch analytics data about how your organization's design system libraries are being used. The API provides similar information to the in-product library analytics feature, but in a format that you can use to do more fine-grained, custom analysis.

Cool API, but I see limited value unless there’s a direct bridge between Figma components and the actual codebase. Without that connection, it’s just surface-level data. Real adoption happens in engineering — and we need metrics that reflect that. I'd love to see a more integrated approach that tracks design intent through to shipped UI.

Thank you for sharing, these things are really necessary for me, but I'm not a developer, so accessing files is quite difficult for me. I hope you can give more detailed instructions.

From FIgma perspective, the "organizations" do no need to have access to this... I mean.. Are you serious right now ?

Worked for me, but lots of "file not visible" / "team not visible" in the output. Seems like to be useful you need an all-seeing account.
