Controlling Two Robots with Natural Language via OpenAI
This video demonstrates our system for controlling two Tumbller robots simultaneously using natural language commands processed by OpenAI.
- Independent control of each robot ("Move Bot-1 forward")
- Simultaneous actions ("Both robots turn left at the same time")
- Sequential operations ("Bot-1 moves, then Bot-2 follows after 2 seconds")
The mobile-friendly interface connects to both robots via Bluetooth, visualizes commands in real-time, and shows execution feedback. The backend uses OpenAI's function calling to parse natural language into precise robot instructions with proper timing and coordination.
A practical demonstration of how language models can control multiple physical devices from simple conversational commands.
