As a major snack-a-holic myself, I’m very stoked to see you guys eating some of my common snack favs that I can actually just pop over to the store to pick up myself! 🤗 Hope i’ll get to make it to the meet and greet!

Mmmm! So many nostalgic snacks! Li hing mui was one of my mom's favorite treats! Thank you, Satoshi, for the wonderful view of Koko Head. Thank you, Brian, for your helpful hints. And to Kuma for being so adorable. Shinichi, I'm ecstatic you're home on Oahu with your ʻohana! Enjoy every moment, and please don't work too hard. Spending time with your loved ones is most important. So much aloha to you all! 💙🤙🌴🌺

Yum all the snacks look really good. That was a beautiful view thank you for showing it to us. What a great place to grow up Hawaii. I really like that house it’s just perfect that large patio and the pool. And a beautiful view from it all. Have a wonderful vacation! Take care and have lots of fun and eat a lot of good things. 🥰🌺🌊

Missed watching your livestream, so catching up now. I haven't been back home in Hawaii for over 20 years and watching you eat the snacks made me very homesick and nostalgic for all the snacks that I used to eat growing up there. I can get some things from the local Asian store in my town, sometimes they even have li hing mui, but you had a couple of items I totally forgot about like the one ton chips! (wow they still make them!), and Portuguese sweet bread, and Diamond bakery. I used to eat those royal creme crackers as a kid. The one few things that I really miss are manapua and the chinese rice cakes I used to get from the manapua man, and of course Hawaiian Sun drinks! When Satoshi briefly moved the camera to show koko head I almost cried because I really miss the mountains. I just miss home a lot. I really need to visit :)

**Happiest birthday, Satoshi. I've enjoyed getting to know you, and spending time with you on the screen. You're a very dear, kind, tenderly well-mannered, thoughtful gentleman. Wishing a lightful, joyous, healthy, and adventurous year ahead for you.

Happy birthday 🎂!! I usually am in Honolulu about 2-3 x per month for work travel. Unfortunately won't be there while you are on the island. So wished I could be there and run into you. Thanks for showing snacks. There are so many great places to eat. For fast food I like Pearl's next to Don Quijote for their spicy chicken, Nandings for Spanish rolls, I've never been to the Rainbow drive in, but I hear its good fast food. Have fun. Enjoy your island visit. Aloha

92*F/33*C in Pennsylvania today (Saturday) and very humid. Unseasonably warm for this time of year....it’s like we skipped spring and went directly to summer here. My mom has those same exact outdoor chairs! 😄
Ok, I’m going to watch the rest of the video now....I paused, because I’d forget to answer ur question if I waited until the end. LoL 😂

Edit: pretty plz record a bit of the meet up for those of us who can’t be there. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

How sad…my wife and I and our friend (all TabiEats followers) were so surprised when Niki Niki said that you were coming to visit on Saturday. We are visiting from Los Angeles and got here Wednesday. We are/were anxious to bump into you. Then you announce your meet and greet scheduled for next Sunday and unfortunately we are leaving this Wednesday and will miss your meet and greet wherever you have it. Bummer! So close but so far away! The best place we have eaten in Oahu so far was getting various poke from Yama’s Seafood. Ask Niki if she has ever gone there. The clientele is mostly locals and you will find interesting varieties of poke. Their oyster sauce ahi poke is to die for along with the marinated scallop poke. At the same time their local favorites were tasty too like Lau Lau and pipikuala ( think of Hawaiian jerky). Shinichi and Satoshi you won’t go wrong if you visit there! This is a hidden gem! Sad yo miss you guys!🙁🌈🌴🤙
