New CBS News polling finds registered voters have a more positive view of the economy now than August. It also reveals that Vice President Kamala Harris has narrowed her deficit with former President Donald Trump among those who call the economy a major factor in their vote. It amazes me that people still think Trump is some kind of economic guru. Never mind that the economy has done far better under Democratic administrations over the past several decades and Trump inherited an economy on the upswing when he took office. Voters are GULLIBLE. I would guess that most of it is based on the fact that he always wears a business suit and he was on The Apprentice and wrote a book called "The Art of the Deal." It's just incredible how readily people take things at face value.
