Not to mention that the X1 controller has infrared leds that interact with the Kinect sensor to do things like automatically reorient splitscreen gaming depending on who is sitting where in the room.

No they said that if the batteries are low you can plug it in, to use it wired not recharging it.

The touch pad is the new select: I can imagine clicking it then using it to look around/ zoom in on maps in games.

They stated in the video that you can charge it with a USB that comes with the XBOX.

PS4 Controller is worth the price and value your getting with it, with all the high tech thats built inside it, 3 axis gyroscope, Multi Touch pad, Speaker, Move light Sensors, Share button, Black light buttons.

The touch pad and gyroscope is gonna make PS4 gaming more interactive.

Besides the AA batteries thing, both controllers are looking quite nice.

No it's not you can make in into a wired controller when the batteries run out, they did not mention anything about it charging the batteries.

It's actually bigger than the previous controllers. I've seen many reviews of people who held them at E3 and they all agreed that it was much bigger.

Me too... LOL i know. I think they don't want to reveal units or sales yet because I haven't seen any official source yet. Like you were saying, we just have to wait from Sony and Mircosoft to announce how they did with their systems in terms of preorders.

Yeah for this generation but for the next generation IGN, Rev3Games and other trusted sources have said that ps4 controller also feels great in hand and has been improved a lot.
